N95 8GB Firmware update available for O2

As subject, the firmware update for those on O2 and haven't debranded/upgraded already is now available.

Just beware you will lose all your contacts and some applications so make sure you PC Sync first and then reinstall any apps you had. Of mine only Opera 'held on'. I even had to re-upgrade to the Maps 2 beta.

Hope that helps.

It's worth mentioning again (as in the other thread) that you can only keep a playable Spiderman 3 by using the latest (v2.0.262.0) Nokia Nseries PC Suite to backup/restore and not the normal Nokia PC Suite version, otherwise your activation key/license may not be kept.

And using the above everything restored for me apart from my calendar and some applications but you could possibly get round the calendar problem by sync'ing that before and after? which I forgot to do.
