My orange contract is nearly up and I am thinking of getting the iphone, But I don’t want to pay the £35 a month, Is there a way around this, like getting a cheaper O2 contract and putting the sim in. and how do I go about registering it through iTunes without signing a new contract.
Don’t want to jail break it because with my luck it will just break, and don’t want to be left with a brick.

There is a whole thread about this if you read the sticky at the top of the forum.

Jailbreaking to use a PAYG O2 sim or Unlocking to use any Sim (except 3) is now an easy 4 minute process - info also in the sticky. You dont register through itunes unless you want a proper iphone contract.
