O2, Good Network?

Thinking of getting a N95 8GB with O2,
Been with Voda for years, but O2 seem to give the better deals,
Any thoughts on O2?

Re: O2, Good Network?

I have been with O2 since i moved here for university and they have always been good for me. Each year i get a shiny new upgrade and a better plan for an excellent price. I am now on 600 anytime minutes and 1000 texts and unlimited blackberry data plan for £22.50 a month. decent deal in my eyes as the data plan is £10 alone. When upgrade time comes along i always get the highest band as well ie get to choose what i want without having to pay any extra to get the handset.

Re: O2, Good Network?

All a matter of personal preference, O2 in my experience were rubbish, poor CS, poor coverage for my needs etc. Not sure how they are now but if you want 3G/HSDPA coverage then I believe they are the poorest for that too.

Re: O2, Good Network?

I have had no major problems with O2 in the last 4 years sinc I've been with them. Their signal coverage in and around my area (W.Yorks) is good, and much better than T-mobile who I used to use. However this may not be the case where you live so I'd check it out before you commit.

I also find the staff are generally friendly and willing to do a nice retainer deal if they think you're going to leave!

Re: O2, Good Network?

Do you mean better coverage, better customer service or better value? Or just all three together?

Re: O2, Good Network?

I was on Orange since the Nokia 5.1 was out until a few weeks ago when I ported to O2.

Having read a few comments about inferior network, I was suprised to find that my 3G coverage and general signal level was higher on O2 than Orange in ALL the places I use my phone.

No regets here.
