Re: IPhone or Viewty ??

I only tried the iphone in the shop. tbh I was not overly impressed. Ended up getting the Viewty and think it is a great phone. Only downside the viewty has is the it will only take up to 2gb micro SD cards so if you want it for music then this may be something to take in to account

Re: IPhone or Viewty ??

8gb in the Viewty? Really, cool. Thanks for telling me. I was advised by LG that this is not possible as the reader would not read anything over 2gb.

Do you have to do anything different with the phone or card?

Re: IPhone or Viewty ??

iPhone for me.

The Viewty is a very good phone, but it's not an iPhone. There is little around that touches the iPhone for quality of user interface and experience. It's far from the most technically capable phone around, but the user experience is one of the best around.

Re: IPhone or Viewty ??

iphone.

Great browser and email client.

Fast and responsive.

Built-in ipod

Although if you need a decent camera, you're better of looking elsewhere.

2.5g is just about bearable.

What makes the iphone is not the hardware but the user interface.

Best phone I've ever used in my opinion.

I only sold mine because I got a free upgrade that has GPS, 3G and a keyboard.

The keyboard is surprisingly very useable and allows for very fast typing. However, as soon as you get one key stroke wrong, it takes an age to correct.

Great phone. Looking forward to the 3G version.

Re: IPhone or Viewty ??

viewty

HSDPA/3.5 G
8GB SD card
5 meg camera
great video camera
can be used as a modem for laptop
excellent music playback
FULL DIVX movie support
very light
cheap

i highly recommend it and im a fussy git

but weigh up what you need
best fone i have had

re 8Gb sd card do not format it in the viewty. put all your music etc on it. When you check memory manager in the phone you will see 2 Gb but all your apps. i.e music and video will read the full 8GB
