Adobe Photoshop connecting...

every time I connect my N95 8GB via USB, Adobe Photoshop says "trying to connect" and then takes about 10 mins to work out that there are no pics to download.

I've searched Photoshop but can't for the life of me find out how to disable the automatic search and it won't let me cancel or close the programme until it's finished searching.

Annoying isn't the word and I don't want to have to uninstall Photoshop.

Cheers

CJ

Starter Edition 3.2

Just need to know how to disable auto search. The online help takes ages to search and is "unhelpful" !

In your startup / task bar - the bit with the clock. Do you have any thing from adobe ?

go to start and the run type 'msconfig' and then check the startup section, only disable the adobe stuff.

Re: Adobe Photoshop connecting...

From Adobe

To disable the Adobe Photo Downloader:

1. In the Photoshop Elements 4.0 Organizer, choose Edit > Preferences > Camera Or Card Reader.

2. Deselect "Use Adobe Photo Downloader to get photos from Camera or Reader."

Note: If you also have Photoshop Elements 3.0 installed on your computer, you must also disable Photo Downloader in Photoshop Elements 3.0 to prevent it from starting each time you connect an external device. To do so, open the Photoshop Elements 3.0 Organizer and follow steps 1 and 2 above.

Let us know if it works or not
