What smartphone to choose?

Hi, looking for some advice on new phone, my contract is just about up on my MDA Vario, looking for the next best thing on the market just now, like the idea of having a mini pc in my pocket, not bothered about camera, just looking for the best pocket pc spec with reliability, sat nav would be an advantage as well as would built in WIFI, help on choice much appreciated, would like to stay with TMobile web & walk service which is roughly £40 a month, so I don't want to go over that amount if possible, or maybe I would consider another network that offers unlimited web access.

The HTC Kaiser / Vario III

I went for the HTC S730, not as good as I hoped and doesnt have GPS which was a shame.

Re: What smartphone to choose?

HTC TyTn 2 is a damn good phone. I've got one for work, well, I've got the O2 branded version which is the Stellar. It's very good, quick, easy to use, loads of functionality and does everything you ask.

Not sure what TMobile have branded the TyTn 2 as, but it would definitely be my choice.

Re: What smartphone to choose?

The Orbit II is available for £49.99 with an 18 month contract, £35 per month, 600 mins, 500 texts and the choice of a free bolt-on, including unlimited web browsing!

Co-Pilot 7 is also included as well as a car charger and windscreen mount.

Unless you really need a 'real' keyboard then I don't think there's anything better at the moment, the HTC screen keyboard is actually very good. I use the 12 key touch keypad as it's the nearest thing to a normal phone pad.

If you need home broadband then you could also get upto 8mb for another £7.50 a month.
