Just got my new G800 but my old Sony is still fine. New phone is worth a few bob.

What are the catches? I take it the phone belongs to the Phone Co but they would never know which phone I was using

Yup, no worries at all, it's yours. And if you try and cancel the contract early, which is pretty much the only time the network would get involved, they will just be interested in the remaining payments.
