Problems Using TomTom with Kaiser / MDA / Tytn II or equivalent

I have recently got an MDA with T Mobile, and I have a parrott blu tooth hands free kit.

Yesterday I installed TomTom Navigator. Until now, my MDA has worked seamlessly with the Parrot - however I have had major problems since installing TomTom.

1) The voice is so quiet it is impossible to hear with the stereo on. With the stereo off it is only just discernable.

2) It is impossible to make a call when running TomTom. Basically the blu tooth dials, but it is impossible for me to hear the person I am calling or them to hear me.

3) When taking an incoming call, after hanging up the Parrot "hangs" and the only way to hear music through my stereo again is to pull up, reboot the MDA and turn the ignition off and on again.

4) Everytime I run TomTom it defaults to sound off. I have to go into options and turn sound on twice (it never works the first time) before it will work.

Numbers 1 and 4 are damned annoying, but 2 and 3 are critical problems.

I sold my dedicated satnav to go for this solution - is there any way around these problems, or have I completely wasted my money?

Your help and advice would be really appreciated.
