Unhappy Help! Tea vs. W880i Incident!

Hi everyone

I have just had a bit of an accident and dropped my Sony Ericsson W880i in my cup of tea - it was completely submerged and (obviously) now won't turn on.

Is there anything I can do to revive it or should I be calling Orange customer services to see how much it's going to cost me to replace it?

I think it's going to be one of those days today!

Re: Help! Tea vs. W880i Incident!

You could try taking it to bits (battery/sim/back cover, not actually to bits) and putting it on a cloth on a radiator or in the airing cupboard. that might dry it out, but if you have Orange insurance for the handset, give them a call and get a replacement.

But remember to tell the story of how it happened like it was a total accident, you had a good hold of the phone, you knocked your arm and dropped it in there or something. as long as you dont make it sound like it was your fault you might get a replacement???
