Smile Best phone for taking photographs

Best phone for taking photographs ???

I am looking for a new phone but apart from texting & making calls I want to be able to take good photographs. I am not interested in music files or downloads
I do like the idea of being able to access the WWW

Sooooooo which phone will meet these criteria?

I am thinking of the Viewty on 3

Cheers

Mike

Re: Best phone for taking photographs

Forget what other people say about the Viewty, its a good phone with a good camera, ive had both K850i and now the Viewty and its got the better camera, the N95 is probably the best but I find the phone so awkward to work with, having had Sony phones for years I did alot of research before getting a Viewty and so glad I did, coming from a K800i and K850i (which imo is worse than a K800i) I was sceptical about a different OS etc but its just great and I cant recommend it enough, it also has by far the best video camera capabilites of ANY phone out there.

Re: Best phone for taking photographs

so what about the Samsung G800? 5mp, zenon flash, 3 X optical zoom. Got to be a challenger for the title surely.

I found the N95 camera absolutely awful

i had the k800i. i upgraded to the k850i and the camera wasnt really very good. i then got the viewty and the cam was much better but, once the novelty of the amazing touch screen wore of, i found myself craving for keys. So i then got the n95 Black 8gb, and gotta say the cam in practice is better than the viewty imo...

however both the viewty and n95black have a better cam than the k850i imo.

Also, useability of the phone as a camera, the n95 and viewty are both on par, with dedicated buttons to use as a cam, altho personally i find the n95i quicker to use as a cam and the cam feautures more easy to access thru the dedicated menus - infact its easier than my main camera.

Re: Best phone for taking photographs

From the previews I've read the Nokia N82 is meant to have a better camera than the N95 so that maybe worth of consideration too.
