Changing orange tariffs

I am on Orange Dolphin 30 now and get 300 mins 400 txts, anyone changed while on existing contract to get get more txts and less minutes.

Ideally would like to change but not have the 18 month contract start again.

Re: Changing orange tariffs

the only way you will get a good deal is to sing up for another 18 month contract once your is up.

i just done mine and my wifes and got dolphin 35 for 25 a month and free insurance so 600 mins and unlimited texts...and a free nokia 6500 slide.

my wife has the same new phone but 500 mins 500 texts and free insurance for 25 quid a month

Re: Changing orange tariffs

Can you downgrade our tariff after six months (go onto a cheaper monthly rate) without penalty.

Re: Changing orange tariffs

How did you get that deal Buster??? Its a great deal. Virgin Mobile only offer 300/300 on 18 months. Did you negotiate on the phone? That's not the deal listed on the website!

Re: Changing orange tariffs

you can get that deal online just take thge £35 dolphin or raccoon and select one of the listed phones with £180 credit eg sony w910i as i did with the raccoon i got 800 xnet mins 100 txts and unlimited landline calls its £35 per month and they credit you 10 offf that bill each month for 18 months ie the £180 credit but its only on selected phones total cost £25 and if your on orange broadband homemax they take £10 off that as well.
so you get orange homemax £15 instead of £24
orange mobile £25 instead of £35

Re: Changing orange tariffs

Hi Sorry have been with orange for years and each year its a hassle getting upgraded as i refuse to pay for a phone but if you go through and say you have been looking at other carriers and they will put you through to the retentions team. Once i even went as far as asking for the pak code to transfer my number to another tarrif and once they sent it to me someone called me back almost immediately with a good deal. you just have to stand your ground they will always cave in within reason
