LG Viewty slow USB transfer?

Got this today and its a great phone, just transfering about 550 megs of divx to the card via the supplied usb cable and using the lg pc suite software and its taking ages, looks about 45 mins to complete, i thought this was a usb 2 device? could it be a slow mem card?

Re: LG Viewty slow USB transfer?

No idea as Lg suite on my laptop only allows me to sync my phone, if i try to transfer anything using the tools i get an error message so i have to take out my memory card and plug it into my laptop and then copy it across that way

Re: LG Viewty slow USB transfer?

You get faster transfer speed if you change the phone setting .Menu>Cog?? menu>Phone Settings>Connectivity>USB connection Mode and change it to Mass Storage. You cant use the PC Suite .It will just show up as a removable disk in My Computer.

Re: LG Viewty slow USB transfer?

many thanks for that, i hate using pc suites, much prefer normal storage drag and drop without all the crap, nice one
