What you have to ask yourself is, is it the phone or the network?
I have had a couple of V3`s, reception was always excellent. If yours is bad, has it just happened or always been like that?
If its your phone that is faulty, any new phone should suffice, if its a network failing, switch.
My daughter has just got a Sony K550i ( I think). About £40 from Carphone Warehouse on O2 ( payg) Theres cheaper phones about, anything from a well known maker will be fine. Bet someone on here is just waiting to sell you a good one!
