I've recently been contacted by O2 indicating I am due for an upgrade. The problem is is that I'm finding it hard to leave my current W810i behind. It has been far and away the best phone I have had and previous experiences with Nokias, Motorolas and Samsungs have been painful to say the least. My current handset is getting old so I could do with a new one. There are certain features I really like about my current phone that I would like to keep:
- I listen to the radio more than anything else
- I use the walkman function regularly but would like a larger memory (512MB currently)
- The camera is OK for me but I wouldn't say no to a better one
- Other useful little touches like the torch function
- I have become accustomed to the Sony Ericsson style of phone navigation so would be reluctant to move away
I currently pay around £30 per month on my current contract and would prefer to upgrade for free if possible so the newest phones (e.g. W960i) are out of reach. As I see it, I have a few options available to me that would fit most of my criteria:
- SE W910i - same product range as my current phone but with increased memory
- Nokia N81 - Has massive memory but not SE. Also my last Nokia was a pig, i still bear the scars...
- Get another W810i with a larger memory card
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who has any advice these phones or others that might be worth a look. Are they reliable? How user friendly are they?
Thanks guys
