can't you hook it up to your computer and then use sony ericsson Pc suite to browse the contacts on the phone.

Re: Please Help ! Retrieving Numbers From A Broken Mobile Phone

I had the same problem with my K750i, screen smashed as forklift truck drove over it. I bought a new screen off the internet, can't remember the site, but it's easy to find, just type into google, spare screen w850i or something. If you're not frightened to take the thing apart, it's not actually that hard to replace the screen. There are instructions for that, with pictures, again on the internet. Just do a search. Otherwise, if it won't connect through PC suite, you could borrow a friend's phone, just copy the button presses, in contacts there is an option to "send all contacts", just select that and then via bluetooth, and you can send all your contacts just like that to your new phone. That's what I did.
