Re: N95 n00b/lazy man help

I too would also like to know how to do this as I'm going to be getting an N95/N95 8GB and I would like to put some of my Only Fools and Horses onto it, along with a few other things.

What software is required?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: N95 n00b/lazy man help

dvd decrypter , save the dvd as a vob file. PS3 video 9 (www.redkawa.com) and add the nokia profiles:-

http://www.n95users.com/forum/third-...onversion.html

Be careful cos if you overwrite the ps3.xml file that comes with the latest version of PS3 video 9 you'll lose some of the latest profiles like MKV passthrough, what I did was cut and paste all the nokia profiles from the ps3.xml file in the zip file into the one in the PS3 Video 9 directory. I use 256kbps small which works fine but you could use a higher bitrate if you wanted to. Basically just click on the convert tab and then current conversion then convert video, select the .vob file and the nokia profile you want to use and click on start. That will output a .mp4 file that you can transfer to your memory card (in \My Videos folder). That's a very quick version cos I'm doing it during half time, if you need more details I'll be happy to oblige later

Cheers
Andy

Jeez....

If you'd scrolled down the page a bit you would have seen someone asked the same question yesterday

Here you go. Best video conversion utility for Vista?

No Octegenarian instructions but I'm sure you'll work it out.
