Windows Mobile Media Player - no sound

Hi,
I have an O2 XDA Mini S. The sound quality of the media player seemed to deteriorate when I installed Tom Tom, but has recently disappeared altogether. Other apps which use sound seem ok, including the phone and Tom Tom, so the speaker seems ok. But with WMP there is no sound when Media plays. Stranger still, when i move the on-screen volume slider to full, the player skips to the next track and the volume control resets to zero! Reloading the software might be the answer, but how do I do this?

Re: Windows Mobile Media Player - no sound

Sounds like a hard reset is in order. means completely re-installing all your apps though.

There is a big XDA Mini S thread on the forums i started a few years ago, have a search in there.
