What wifi provider for non contract Iphone?
I currently have The Cloud £3.99 offer on my Touch which i was hoping to transfer to my non contract O2 Iphone however it seems you cant do that - so what other service providers are there and who offers the best coverage / price?
Or is the O2 £7.50 bolt on for edge sufficient?

Another member has managed to use his iphone Cloud account to connect his Mac. Can't you just connect your iphone using the same credentials you use on the Touch?
The usefulness of the O2 bolt on would depend very much on the Edge coverage where you need to use it. it only covers around 305 of the UK population at present.

Yes it does not seem to check the MAC address, but...I was using the O2 contract as a roaming partner so I don't know whether that works differently compared to getting an account from the Cloud direct...

Re: What wifi provider for non contract Iphone?
The Touch uses MAC id only for connecting - theres no login details.
I might try e-mailing them to see if they will just swap MAC id's although the Touch's use different ranges so they might not do it.

Is there any way of changing/spoofing the MAC address on the iphone? Although you'd really need to do it on the Touch as well
