Yes it has edge which is slightly slower that 3G but does the trick..... As you pay for the O2 contract that is unlimited edge download included in the tariff.... The iphone does not currently support flash (and java im not sure about)

my fone is unlocked tho, see if i used just a payg o2 sim would i get it free?

If you get a Simplicity tariff with the unlimited data bolt-on (which start at 22.50 a month) that would give you unlimited data with no more to pay - I don't think data is free on any tariff, and especially not on PAYG.

Whether you pay or not depends on how you connect (wi-fi or GSM/Edge) and your tariff, not the handset.

Nothing is free, the cheapest way you can do it is get the Web bolt-on through O2 but I assume thats for contact users only.
