Help with a PDA type phone

hello all,

im just about to come to the end of my contract and am looking at getting a PDA stly phone, i was looking at the HTC touch, but then read a few bad reviews so i was put off. i went to the o2 store the other day and quite liked the look of the XDA Orbit. does anyone have these are they any good?

i've following the thread about the TyTnII, i'd like some feed back on this too, i'm not sure on the size of it? how does it compare to a normal phone?

if anyone has any comments i'd really like to hear them.

thanks

G

Re: Help with a PDA type phone

I've got an Orbit. I had the XDA II and the XDA Exec before so going back to a traditional phone was never an option. I haven't tried the sat nav for it as I don't need it but I got a cracking deal from Carphone Warehouse - £25 per month for 18 months with no upfront cost. Can't recommend it highly enough.

This offer? http://shop.carphonewarehouse.com/pa...v-software/o2/

If so it's only £25 per month for 6 months. If yoou got the phone for £25 a month for 18 months thats a very good deal.

Re: Help with a PDA type phone

Sorry Guerilla forgot to answer your initial thread My wife has the Orbit and uses it in her job as a driving instructor. She uses the Outlook functionality to manage her appointments and schedule her diary. She does not use the MS Office function so can't comment on that.

She loves the touch screen keyboard and also uses the co-pilot software which was a bit quirky to get used to initially but is actually pretty good.

All in all its an excellent piece of kit and when she renews her contract in January she will be getting another one.
