pda downloading movies: difficulties

Ciao. Has anyone experience with downloading movies with their pda phone?
I have had intermittent success.
Most rar files (100 to 300) turn out to be corrupt.
Even when use browsers: opera mobile, or netfront.
I have edge connection thru t-mobile, usa.
But using handyget, vito, or WMDA accelerator is not working when attempting to download from a shared movie file.
Any experience or suggests will be Very appreciared.
