XDA Orbit WM6 Upgrade

Whilst searching for topics relating to battery life I have found the official upgrade for Windows Mobile 6. Has anyone upgraded their Orbit from WM5 and if so does it retain all the installed programmes and settings or does it reset everything? I want to avoid doing a full re install if at all possible and cannot find any info.

Eventually found the answer myself. It basically performs a full reset therefore wiping all installed info.
