I Phone help

I recently bought an I phone off ebay from a uk seller. Its unlocked and working fine on vodaphone. I have managed to get my email set up with Tiscali and can access them through WiFi.

I have been reading some of the forums and cannot make head nor tail of what you can do with this phone. It came unlocked and according to itunes its on firmware 1.0.2.

Questions
1. What is the you tube hack, I have an icon for you tube on the home screen that allows me to access the videos. Is this the hack or does it do somthing different?
2. What is the text message hack?
3. Can I upgrade to 1.1.1 and if so, how and is it worth it?
4. How do I add ringtones?
5. How do I add the NES games?
6. Is there anything else you can do to the phone?

Any assistance would be appreciated as I am really struggling to find answers to these questions on any of the forums.

Thanks
