MDA Vario not connecting to the wifi.

Im on BT and im using 2WIRE WIFI router hub, i have no problems connecting to it on my laptop.

Im using a MDA Vario to connect and its picked it up but its ont connecting to the wifi for some reason, any ideas. I entered the code and in the wiress lan settings im getting a good signal it says.

It says unable to obtain a server assigned IP address, try again later or enter an IP address i netwrk settings. It can se ethe wifi now but cnat connect for some reason.

Have you got mac address filtering/access control enabled on your router, if you have you will need to add your phone to the list of authorised devices.

Ah ok, how do i do this please.

The laptop connects fine to the wifi, its a BT 2wire business hub, all the laptop needed was the pass code numbers, it connects fine everytime to the wifi.

Surely the MDA VARIO should do that.
