Have a contract on 3 but want to change phone..

Is this possible if i ring them up and ask them to change? If not, would it be possible to buy a phone on the 3 network payg, then use my 3 contract sim in that?

Thanks

Re: Have a contract on 3 but want to change phone..

How long have you been under contract with them? Most providers let you upgrade your handset every 12 months or so (at contract renewal time) for free/a nominal fee. If you're still within your contract period then a PAYG handset may prove to be a chepaer option...
