Hi Im looking to get a new phone - they dont have em in stock at my local t-mob store, looking for a phone for calls/occasional web browsing/occasional use as a modem to a 2 year old mac G4 powerbook.

I realise they are very different functionality wise, with the Vario 3 offering way more functions, but LG Viewty looks nicer, thinner, nice browser, no wifi though, so guess would need to use USB cable to laptop or BT to the laptop?

Does any one have any views or suggestions
