Smile Vario Iii Or Touch?

Hi there, I can't decide. Help.

Does anyone know if the Vario iii has a-z on the touch screen to use with stylus or do you HAVE to use the keyboard?

Many thanks.

Re: Vario Iii Or Touch?

The Vario III has all the standard Windows Mobile stuff, so yes you can have on screen qwerty keyboard, on screen keypad (like a normal mobile with predictive text) or even handwriting recognition. The keyboard is a bonus, but very very useful for email/internet and more serious document writing.

The Vario III is a very different beast, much more powerful and has GPS for tomtom etc. Go with the Vario III.

Re: Vario Iii Or Touch?

Does it come with on screen a-z or do you have to put it on?

Never had anything like this before, so a real novice.

I fell in love with it when I saw it.

Liked the large screen (have crappy sight) and liked the keyboard as I find the keypads on normal phones quite difficult to see.

What I didn't want though was to have to use the keyboard all the time if just doing a quick reply like 'ok' to a text.

As i explained above - yes it comes with the a-z (qwerty) onscreen installed which you can use or use the keyboard.

This thread is all about the Vario III (AKA the Kaiser) - HTC Kaiser

Re: Vario Iii Or Touch?

The vario III is the better handset feature wise but the touch is super fly looking.
