Sat Nav - does it turn off with incoming call?

On the N95/6110, if you are being guided by the navigation, and you receive an incoming call, does it shut off the navigation? If so, does it stay off for the duration of the call? Or is it just a portion of the screen that shows who is calling etc? Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Sat Nav - does it turn off with incoming call?

on my P990 with tomtom i goes to a blue screen and the shows caller id etc then after 10 seconds goes back to navigation screen with a phone icon you loose controls from handset but is use a headset when driving can be a bit annoying if your aproaching a junction when the call comes in but you can reject the call if that critical

Re: Sat Nav - does it turn off with incoming call?

on the windows mobile pda phones i use the call puts tomtom into the background, ie running in the background, no sound and the phones dial pad is on the screen, then once call ends tomtom is back as normal with no delay.

i assume its running in background as my bluetooth tomtom gps turns off if tomtom aint running after a few mins and it never turns off even if on a call for an hour

i use tomtom on the N95, when a call comes in it pops up the callers number etc etc you lose the tomtom screen.

i find i have to go back into apps to put tomtom back on the screen again, its still working while your on the phone though.

i also found when its connected to a bluetooth headset, it still shows the map while your in progress with the call (parrot ck), weird!
