pls recommend a wifi, camera, music phone!

Hi all my first post!
Ive been researching my next mobile phone to get. I cant make my mind up about what phone to get. Im after a wifi phone (get free internet access in hotspots) with decent camera (2MP +) email capabilities and combine as a music player. (the music player is an optional extra!)

I have seen the perfect phone the SE W960i but i believe this is not out until Dec!!! So what phone would you recommend to me and why? I would really appreciate your help! Phones i have looked at are N95, SE K850i, SE P1, o2 XDA Orbit, iPhone and many more - i know N95 is possibly the best on the market but the battery life and reliability have been slated on some reviews!

I just cant make up my mind! Please help!
Cheers Edd.

Iphone is the best for music and web browsing, if you can live with lack of mms, un-removable battery

Re: pls recommend a wifi, camera, music phone!

iPhones downsides;

non removeable battery (so can't carry a spare to switch over if one dies)
lack of MMS
lack of 3G support
lack of Java support (apparently)

Upsides

WICKED interface! Love it!
Brilliant to use, scroll contacts, data, info, pictures, music, etc....
Is basically an iPod touch, so all features same there
camera takes nice pics, even if they aren't a squillion megapixels (still better than my "3.2" megapixel Nokia camera tho)

Things not cool tho;

scratches like buggery!
Have to carry a little cloth around with you to constantly wipe screen to look show it off - fingerprints galore!
battery don't last long....

(BTW, I don't own one, these are going off my expiriences with my friends iPhone)

Could anyone suggest any other alternatives to the iPhone? - the lack on mms may be annoying! Plus as mentioned before cost of £269 and not out in UK till Nov 9th!
Kieron thanks for the suggestion of XDA Orbit - do you have one? Are they any good? Im reading reviews on them now!

Cheers, Edd.

The Sony P1i is an option if you don't fancy an iPhone. Some great deals to be had online too.

Re: pls recommend a wifi, camera, music phone!

I bought a Ubiquio401 a few weeks back quite cheaply .Runs on WM5 and is a bit of a brick to carry round , BUT ..........it has bluetooth, wi-fi ,internet , camera , TV[free] ,FM radio ,powerpoint ,excell, word, recorder, built in answer machine ,will record any phone conversations to SD card etc . The list is endless . Theres a load of software for these things too , mp3 players , divx player , photo viewers ,wireless finders etc , Oh and one other thing I have TomTom 6 running on mine . I bought 1700aH battery for it from ebay so it last's for quite a while . Not a bad phone , only a little bulky .

Hi,

I have an Orbit and an iPhone - very impressed with both.

I like the orbit's GPS software (that requires no subscription) and the fact that there are a million and one programs that you can install on it. It's relatively small, has a good sized screen and great battery life.

Available for free from many providers too!
