im looking at a phone deal for my daughter and she likes these phones but can they be made any network and if so how?

nokia 6300 (on orange)

samsung d900i (on O2 and or orange)

lg shine (on O2)

also ive had a N73 on O2 for 6 months now and can i make that any network

LG shine on O2 should be unlocked, the d900i can be done using hardware im sure and the 6300 can be unlocked by the network.

with my last pre n73 phone (nokia 6600) i just enterd a code

do i enter codes with any of the above?

there is no free way for any of the ones you listed

there is if you go into CPW - the majority of the handsets they sell are sim free handsets. The best thing you can do is go into the store and just ask outright like I did, they are usually honest with you.

if you already have a nokia, there is someone on www.digitalspy.co.uk who may be able to supply you with the unlocking procedure some of the nokias, not sure abou the 6300 though.
