Hey guys

I currently have a samsung phone which I've had since December and I HATE it!!!

It's on T-Mobile network, and obviously I am stuck with it until I get an upgrade this coming December.

In the meantime I was thinking I'd go back to using my old Nokia N70 which I had on Orange Network.

Will I be able to put my sim card in and will it work? Or do I need to get the phone unlocked?

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that you can't get the N70's unlocked, but I may have read that wrong?

knowing orange its probably locked to there network,no harm trying the sim in it tho.

Orange normally lock their phones so you will have to unlock it,,, you can try and phone customer services telling them you are going abroad on holiday and want to unlock your phone,,, T-Mobile done this for me for free I happened to say I was going to be using T-Mobile USA.

If Orange make you pay to unlock the phone below is a useful website you may find useful, or google it and you will get plenty of options some more user friendly than others.

Thanks for that.... looking at that website, the N70 doesn't seem to be a supported phone for unlocking though.

Will Orange unlock the phone for me even though I haven't got an account with them anymore?

£15-£20 is the standard accross the networks with vodafone being the only one to unlock out of contract handsets for nowt im sure.
