So, I'm getting a new phone...

As the thread title suggests, I need to get a new phone after my K700i packed up earlier this month.

In the past I have always had Orange PAYG and have been fairly happy with it.
I top up by about £5 or 10 in an average month.

So I need

A) Phone recommendations
I have looked at the "upgrades" to my current phone - and seem to have a choice between the W810i (walkman branded) or K800i (cybershot branded). I prefer the K800i, but don't know whether it is worth the extra £50 that it costs on Orange PAYG.

B) A little help
Whilst looking on the internet at phones I have noticed a number of websites seem to offer "12 month free contracts" - these seem to be free phone + 12 months contract for free.
What is the catch with these? And would you recommend them?

C) A further contract question
All the contract phones I have seen offer "x minutes per month and x texts per month" but a fair chunk of my spending (probably about 25-30%) goes on mobile internet usage. Is this ever included within contract deals, or will you always have to pay separately?

Thanks everyone in advance.

A) The k800i in my opinion is a far superior handset, camera is 3.2mp vs 2mp and the screen is much larger.

B) The catch is theyre usually cash back deals with tight stipulations, e.g. send bill 2,4,5,7,8,9&12 all back within 7 days of them being printed and we'll send you a cheque for the value of your line rental back within 28 days. If you can stick to the terms you can sometimes get a great deal, however a lot of the companies offering these deals go out of business and then you'll have no comeback.

C) Both T-Mobile and 3 offer unlimited data services on your handset. For £7.50 per month you can have unlimited data usage on any t-mobile tariff.
