Re: PDA music on car stereo

I bought a FM transmitter from someone in Canada on ebay years ago and it was OK , but I think there are better ones now .My recent purchase of a car Stereo radio/mp3/SD card/USB player [again from ebay ] has a 3.5mm input , so your can plug just about anything into this and play back through the player [PDA/WALKMAN/ETC]. The sound will be much better with a direct link as oposed to a FM wireless link .

Re: PDA music on car stereo

I think many FM transmitters are underrated. I used one for about a year, it was far better than i was expecting. I would have preferred a proper AUX line in, but the cost of upgrading my head unit was not worth it. It sounded just as good as a normal FM station to me, but my system was not huge. The FM transmitter also gives flexibility, i would sometimes bring life back to my old tape/radio (which still sounds decent) in the garden, or other peoples cars.

BTW, if you are using a PDA, check out Conduits Pocket Player - it's absolutly ace.
