Its been a long while since I bought a new mobile last one was the samsung T100 lol. At the time of purchase internet cost were 50p per min.

What the cost of internet browsing these days?
Im interested in the Nokia 6300 pay as u go.

depends on which network you are on. All the main networks now use GPRS/EDGE which charged by the Megabyte. I have found out the hard way that T mobile are the most expensive at £7.50 per MB, O2 charge roughly £2 per MB.

The best thing I can suggest is to look on the networks websites for the charging information.
