Hoping you guys can help me out here..... i lost my phone in ibiza a few weeks back and my brother has given me his old contract phone. I got a new orange simcard to put in it, but to activate the simcard i need to enter the phones IMEI number, but as the phone is not with the box i do not know the number ..... i also looked under the battery it is not there niether.

Anyone know what i can do to find out the IMEI number of the phone? the phone is a sony ericsson w810i.

I think if you can use the keypad, then type *#06# and it'll come up with the IMEI number

yeah ,this works on all phones and is worth doing and making a note of your IMEI number in case your phone gets lost or nicked .
One phone call to Orange and it's locked for good.
