Hi,

Im tryng to transfer files from PC to SPV C500. Ive downloaded Windows ActiveSync 4.5 and paired my phone to the PC via Bluetooth.

Im sure the bluetooth is using COM6 but activsync says it cant find the device. Ive tried changing the BT setting in the phone from ON to Discoverable but it still wont find it.

Ive tried using 'My Bluetooth Places' then going into File Transfer but it says my phone doesnt support this service

I have the very same phone .All you need is ActiveSync on your PC . Connect your C500 using the USB cable , there will be a few dialogue boxes come up .........I always choose Guest , I dont need to syncronise anything . The phone will show up as another drive , click explore and you will have access to your memory card . This is the way I put my mp3 , vids on .etc .
I always had problems trying to get stuff off this phone using bluetooth ie pictures , so I just use the Pc now.

Ive lost the data cable

Is there any other way I can do this?

You'll get one cheap from fleabay ,I did . I got one of those retractable ones ,quite cheap too & they charge your phone up as there connected.
Worth getting one m8.
