Re: 02 gprs ??

Hi,

Yes it is possible that they have not setup your account with GPRS (a flag has to be set to enable GPRS) also they might not have defined a APN (in this case wap.o2.co.uk if your pay monthly) on your subscription (both of these are setup in whats called your HLR subscription), firstly have you checked that the phone is set to use wap.o2.co.uk by default? ,if so either of the above could stop you from using GPRS and you would need to get customer service to check this for you.

I have just received the N95 today just waiting for it to charge so if you need help checking the Phone settings I will post a response in the morning if this will help.

Jamie.

Re: 02 gprs ??

I agree with Jamie. give O2 a call.
whenever i have had my tariff changed for what ever reason with O2 they always forget to set the GPRS flag and i have to call them. It can take mins or hours and you have to turn the phone off and on again to activate it.
