I just bought a Nokia N80 and was looking for a car charger. Went into Carphone Warehouse, they sell a genuine Nokia DC4 charger for £19.99. I thought that was a bit dear, so checked out the prices on line. Nokia themselves can sell and deliver the same charger to me for less than £10. In the end I bought it for £7.49 delivered.

How can C/W justify that sort of markup? They were by far the most expensive of any supplier, even the ones that charged £15 delivery!!!!

I think this kind of situation highlights how those people who dont not shop online get royaly shafted, consider:

Carphonewarehouse in shop for a 1gb micro sd (its the biggest they do) is £22.49
or
£26.00 at the orange shop
or
Play.com 2gb same make etc £14.99.

So it certainly pays to be patient and use the net to save some serious money
