Unlocking T-Mobile phone to take Vodaphone Sim, Help Please

As said above I've got a Nokia 6233 on T-Mobile and I want to use my work sim card in there while my work phone is being repaired,
when I put the sim in the screen says 'Phone Restricted', I have the option to 'undo' but when I click on that I need to enter the restriction code.
I called t-mobile and the guy told me I need to get that code from vodaphone as its their sim, seems strange as it a t-mob phone so you would think its their code.
Anyway I told the guy the last time I needed to unlock a t-mob phone I got the code from them, so he gave me 2 codes, PUK1 and PUK2, but neither of these worked,
Does anyone know what I need to do, or what codes I need ?
Also whats the number to call Vodaphone from one of their phones ?

T-mobile might charge you for an unlock code, so I suggest checking out this thread on moneysavingexpert.com which has some really useful info on how you can unlock Nokia 6 series phones for free

T-Mobile charge £15 for unlocking phone and they send a letter out which takes approx 28 WORKING days with the instructions and the code to unlock the phone,,, It is worth doing ( althought not happy they charge that amount of money to unlock a phone ) but at least now I can you use any sim card in the phone,

BR.

Re: Unlocking T-Mobile phone to take Vodaphone Sim, Help Please

They can actually unlock it quicker if you ask the right person.

I complained to T-Mobile through email about another problem and he offered me £10 credit on my account, instead I asked if he could unlock my N95, he said I will ring you back in 5 mins.

When he rang back he has the subsidy code (unlock code) for me. Unfortunately I can't try it, as the phone is away being repaired, but if you email in complaining, they may be able to do more than the person on the end of the phone.

Hope this helps.
