Re: Help ActiveSync 4.5

Quite possibly, as the firewall might be blocking access.

If you look at Microsoft's support site and search for Activesync you'll find a KB article on what ports to open - you'll need to open them in McAfee.

Re: Help ActiveSync 4.5

The other thing to bear in mind with ActiveSync is that it will set up a partnership on the device with one machine. All other machines will be setup as a guest. To get around this, you will need to delete the partnership with your work machine on the device. When you plug in the device to your new laptop, it will then allow you to setup a new partnership.

Does ActiveSync see the device? i.e. when you connect the device to your laptop, does the ActiveSync icon start spinning? If it does, then your device is connected as a guest and you will need to delete and recreate a new partnership. If not then Juzzy has suggest, it's your firewall locking down the USB ports.
