Hi, I am currently using a Sony Ericsson W810i phone on Orange Pay As You Go. I am thinking of taking up O2's offer of a sim only contract which is where they just send you a sim card only for your current phone and the contract is a one month rolling one which I like the sound of.

Basically what I would like to know is if O2 send me one of their sim cards will it work in my Orange W810i? Can you use different sim cards in different phones that have different branding?

It depends whether your current phone is unlocked or not. If its unlocked then you can put any sim you want in it but if it IS locked then you will either have to pay orange a few bob to get it unlocked or you may be able to get an unlock code from the internet for that phone, i don't know for that particular model or not. You may also be able to take it to one of those market stall type places which will unlock your phone for around £5.
