Copying Contacts

I have a SE K750i at the moment, and will be getting my new Samsung E900 on monday. Was just wondering if there was any programs that you can download that will let you take the contacts straight off the SE and put them onto the samsung?

Will save me a huge amount of time

Thanks

Re: Copying Contacts

On most phones there is an option to just copy all of your contacts to the sim card. After that is done just put the sim into your new phone and then copy them accross to that phone.

Hopefully that will work for you, Sam

Re: Copying Contacts

I could do that but the sim only holds about 100 contacts so would have to do it in batches. also getting a new sim card so i was looking for a program that i could put all my contacts onto the computer with as well if poss.

Re: Copying Contacts

It doesn't matter if you're getting a new sim or not really, because it's only being used to move them. But ye, if you want to move them onto the computer aswell you might want a sim card reader/scanner or a piece of software so that you can bluetooth them to your computer, and then bluetooth a copy of them to your new phone aswell.

Re: Copying Contacts

Just be careful when re-syncing - you will have to change the profile (for your new phone) and then sync once. I inadvertently deleted all my contacts on my phone after syncing and then when trying to re-sync deleted all the contacts on the mobyko profile too! Luckily mobyko saves any deleted contacts in a 'trash' file, which saved the day for me!
