Hi Everyone,

I am totally out of touch with mobile phones but I'm looking to upgrade. Looking for a decent phone preferably with camera, video, mp3 & bluetooth capability. Budget is £200-£300.

Any suggestions welcome, as googling for this stuff is a minefield of adverts & tarrifs.

I am currently on Vodafones PAYG smart step plan, now I'm not sure if this is the best deal these days but it seems to suit me well as I am a very light user.

I am wondering if I stay with this Vodafone payg plan, am I limited to the phones Vodafone offer or can I use any handset I want? If I do decide to change to another network, I assume I can keep the same number I have used for years?

Any suggestions would be great as I was really hoping to go into town and buy something today.

Well I ended up going out and buying a nokia N73. Transfered the sim card and it seems to be working fine.

One problem...none of my contact numbers or texts seemed to cross over with the sim card. Is this possible to do? Bit of pain having to do it all manually. My old phone is a nokia 3510i.
