K750I Questions

Aloha. Just wondering weather the K750I silent mode would turn off the shutter sound on a new K750I on Virgin. I've got a GX17 atm and the shutter sound rather annoys me.

I've heard that putting phone into to silent mode stops this on the K750I.
Yet I've also heard this doens't work on some phones.I don't really want to mess about with firmware etc.

Was wondering if this is the case on a UK K750I on Virgin which I'll be ordering tonight.

Also, can I put MP3's from my PC onto the handset to use as ringtones?

Finally, what is the maximum pixel size I can get on the camera?Ie.800x600 etc.

Thanks alot.

just had a quick look at the wifes and:
silent mode stops the camera sound (there is also a fix to stop it in normal mode with a flash file)
the camera says
1632x1224
640x480
160x120
not sure about the mp3 ringtones

Is there an easy way to stop the shutter sound as I can't stop it on my phone. Is the flash file easy to do?Great phone though.

BTW,I've tried the silent mode and it doesn't work.

Manuals normally say 6-8 hours but shops usually recommend 12-16 hours on the first charge, to really make sure that it's fully charged. You can't overcharge phones so don't worry about leaving it charging overnight

Re: K750I Questions

I am looking for a larger card for a K750i as well. I am not sure about the Pro as it is a different physical size. Does anyone know if the pro works in the K750i and if an adapter solves the problem. I can't find a big duo device, they are all Pro or Micro.

Yet I've also heard this doens't work on some phones.
I can confirm that it doesnt stop the shutter sound on my K750i on O2.
It would be nice to have this option, but the way i see it,there is only one scenario why anybody would want this.

Yes,it is exactly the same size - ive just bought a Sony 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo from play for £22.99. There are cheaper options available, but i decided to go for the Sony branded one. Possibly for misguided reasons though, but who cares...its not a lot of money.
