Nokia 6131 - Comments?

I've had the Nokia N73 for about 6 months and as much as I've tried to like it, I can't. It's too slow, the camera (when it works) is slow, seemingly it runs out of memory when you try to do too much too quickly, the case now creaks when I use the key pad, its just a little bit too big and the keys on the key pad are just too small.

As with most Smart-like Phones, you rarely end up using all the advanced features and fall back to using it for phoning and texting. So I'm now looking for a back to basics phone, that's quick and sleek.

I really like the look of the Nokia 6131 and am interested in any feedback from owners, specifically in regards to its speed of use. I'm also unsure when the model was released, as most high street stores don't seem to be carrying it - not sure if that's because it's new/old/unpopular?

Any thoughts or comments would be great!

FYI - Having taken a scoot around the high st mobile phone shops today I'm pretty confident it's new, hence it's lack of availability.

The O2 store were the only ones currently stocking it, all others said they should have it within the next month.

its been out for maybe 9-10 months, possibly longer. We've stopped stocking it mainly due to it getting old now. Good phone though

Seems I was a little too confident in thinking it was new... I still think I like it non-the less.

Do you know how it compares performance wise vs. the N73?

its a fairly big step down in terms of features but if all your after is a more basic phone then its a good one to go for. The camera is a 1.3MP but it isnt the best to be honest. Still, its been a pretty reliable phone and easy to use though i have to say ive not had any issues with the n73s ive sold. Possibly due to us only launching it in december rather than back in july/august.
