nokia N80 and sat nav?

Ive just been sold this phone by phons4u and i told them i wanted to use it for sat nav. They told me that all i needed to do was to download software and away i go.

Is this true and what are my rights if not?

Don't you need a bluetooth reciever to get the satelite information? Not just software.

If they have mis-informed you, then you have the right to return the phone and cancel the contract.

You probably have a 14 day period to return the phone in any case

They have indeed mis informed you.

I have an N80 with Tom Tom software but you will need a bluetooth GPS receiver.

I had bugger of time trying to get it to work properly, I had to get rid of Vodafones firmware and upgrade it to the generic Nokia one.

yes it does, I am waiting myself for this phone not found a single supplier who has them in stock.
