Bluetooth Help

Hi. Im new to this but hope someone can help. I bought my 12 year old son a Motorola V235 for Christmas. It hasn't got bluetooth on it. Apparently his mates have all got bluetooth on their phones and can send and receive pictures etc using it but he can't. Is there some way he can send and recive images etc or should he just be pleased it's not costing him loads of money for texting? Will WiFi be the new thing next month and he'll want to update to that then? Just because he can't do it he's looking to spend £50 on a Motorola L6. thanks for any help.

Re: Bluetooth Help

Unfortunately the V235 doesn't have an infra red port, so the only way he can get pictures is via picture messaging, which will cost the sender 35p in most cases.

You're best off letting him buy a Motorola L6, which has bluetooth, camera, and is a lot slimmer than the V235.

Re: Bluetooth Help

Even the Sony Ericsson T610i would do, It's near £30 on ebay. It was one of the original phones to be loaded with Bluetooth and Infrared. fantastic phone for a young child!

Re: Bluetooth Help

I bought two of these from the Orange website at £39.99 each and they seem decent phones for the money. I'm not up on phone technology but the 1.3mp camera is reasonable and the screen is very clear. The wife and I are learning how to use them and it's a bit of a task at the moment but we've downloaded and installed sudoku and bluetoothed a couple of ringtones so we are achieving something albeit very gradually. They use a USB connection so they are easy to hook up to the computer and it is quicker than bluetooth allegedly.
