Blackberry Pearl

Hi all,

Has anyone done some recent research into the best deal on a Blackberry Pearl? I'm tempted with T-Mobs flex 25. This'll give me approx. 200 mins and 200 txts for £25 and "unlimited" e:amil for an extra tenner.

2 questions...

Anything better out there?

How unlimited is their "unlimited" e:mail? It's subject to "fair use policy". How far can you go before they decide you're not being "fair"?????

Cheers

James

Re: Blackberry Pearl

the extra £10 gets you 50mb, or take web and walk, (£7.50 which is unlimited surfing), and the email side costs £5.88. The websites not been updated though cos you get £5 of the tariff at the moment too providing you take the 18 month contract.

Re: Blackberry Pearl

Go to vodafone and they will sort you out with a great deal on the business side.

Just say you are self employed and give them a name of a business and with no questions asked you wil recieve great discounts.

Re: Blackberry Pearl

Flext 25 won't give you 200 minutes and 200 texts. £25 a month gives you £40 worth of credit and with text messages at 10p each and calls at 20p per minute that'll give you 200 minutes or 400 texts, but of course you can also mix and match.

That's on a 12 month plan though, so you won't be getting the £5 off per month. If you went on the same plan but an 18 month contract you get £60 worth of credit instead of £40.

You could get Web n Walk for £7.50 per month. It says that "fair usage" for this is 1GB per month and if you exceed that by a large margin every month T-mobile has the right to move you to a different plan or charge you extra, but to be honest I don't think they check the usage of every single customer to see if they exceed this quota

Re: Blackberry Pearl

I think the £5 off has finished. you just get more "credit" for the 18 mth contract now.

The 18 month one gives you £60. So 200 texts at 10p is£20 and then £40 on mins at 20p is 200 mins ....

May try Vodaphone. Do you think I can port my number over?

Re: Blackberry Pearl

Oops my bad didn't work it out for the 18 month one

You'll be able to port your number as long as you're not staying on the same network, in which case it'll be an upgrade. Well, if you wanted to get a new contract on the same network instead of an upgrade you'd still be able to keep your number but it's just more hassle
