Hi all,
I'm looking to finally upgrade my phone from my O2 pay as you go Nokia-brick to a new contract phone.
There are a few functions I could really do with, so if I can find a phone and contract that fits these it would be much preferable to getting your standard swish new phone.

Ideally I'd like to be able to sync my phone with outlook [so I can have a copy of emails while on the move], have the ability to play MP3s and have wireless conectivity so I can browse the web/check emails while in a hotspot.

I'm guessing a windows-mobile driven phone will likely be best?

a) Does anyone know of a phone which does all, or at least some of, these things?
b) Is it available on a contract <=20?

Whoops, with particular relevance to my question b) I think it might be necessary to add that I live in the UK!

I'd get an XDA Exec 2nd hand and a cheapo phone on O2 contract, sell that phone and use the sim in the Exec.

I think the XDA Exec is too large, as I'll be using it primarily as a phone. I think a smartphone as opposed to a PDA is the way to go.

I think I will follow your advice though, and try to get a second hand phone and a cheap contract separate.

Any recomendations as to which smartphone I should try to get hold of?
