Can I return my N73?

My 18month contract for a K750i ended this month with Vodafone so I decided to go for a N73 free with same number and same contract. basically extended for another 18 months.

Only problem is I HATE the phone! I love the looks but for useability its a real dog, very slow, takes about twice as many key presses as the K750 to send a simply message and I find it impossible to send a txt with one hand. The position of the delete key also means I will probably drop the phone if I make a mistake - awful.

I work away so cannot return it till next Mon 9 days after I got it. Can I just cancel the new contract terms, return the phone and wait till a better phone comes along? I dont like the K800 either.

Re: Can I return my N73?

i was with vodafone for 5 yrs and yes you can return it within 14 days to change phones although im not sure where you stand with regards to your contract.

fully agree with you on the n73 its awful. im a sony man myself and as you had the 750 why not try the w810i? it been around a while but it is an excellent phone.i got the k800i on upgrade but it was bulky like the n73 and sold it in ebay and keep the 810i plus no need for an ipod as i have a 2 gb card in it.

Hi bulldoze,

I work for Vodafone. On upgrades we do offer a 14 Day cooling off period. If you bought it from a Vodafone store and you can get back to them within the 14 Days they'll also be able to sort out the handset / new commitment period for you. If you bought it over the telephone you could also contact 191 (option 5 option 1) and they'll be able to transfer you through to the 14 Day Returns department.

Re: Can I return my N73?

Thanks for all the advice. I think I will return it and wait for a more suitable handset. A smaller thinner K800 would be ideal!

You mean like the new K810i: http://http://www.sonyericsson.com/s...e=pp&pid=10804
Same spec as the K800 just updated and smaller!! Should be out soon.
